At SkillScoop, we strive to provide a seamless and satisfactory experience for all our users. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for services provided on our platform, in compliance with New Zealand’s Consumer Guarantees Act.
All purchases made on SkillScoop — including credit packs, Boosted Job placements, and Hassle-Free Payment fees — are final and non-refundable, unless otherwise required by law.Credits do not expire and will remain available in your account for future use. However, they cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to other users, or refunded.Boosted Job purchases, which temporarily promote job listings for increased visibility, are also non-refundable once purchased, even if the job is withdrawn or closed early.Fees paid for SkillScoop’s Hassle-Free Payment service (including processing fees) are non-refundable once the transaction has been completed.If we are unable to deliver a service you’ve paid for due to a fault on our part, you may be entitled to a remedy under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method. In cases where this is not possible, alternative arrangements may be made after consultation with the user.
Refund requests will be reviewed and processed within 20 business days. Users will be notified of the outcome via email.
This Refund Policy is designed to comply with New Zealand’s Consumer Guarantees Act and other relevant laws. Users are entitled to remedies if services are not provided as described, are faulty, or do not meet the agreed standards.

If we make material or significant changes, we will provide reasonable notice – such as by email or through a notification on the platform – before the new terms take effect. Your continued use of SkillScoop after such changes means you accept the updated Terms.
