Set Up Your Account
Setting up your account on SkillScoop is the first step to connecting with clients and showcasing your expertise. Whether you’re new to SkillScoop or updating your profile, this guide will help you make the most of your account.
Step 1: Add a Photo
Upload a professional profile photo to make your account stand out. A clear, friendly photo adds a personal touch and helps build trust with potential clients.
Step 3: Complete the ‘About Me’ Section
This is your chance to introduce yourself to potential clients. Highlight your skills, experience, and services. Be sure to mention the areas you specialise in, any relevant qualifications or certifications, and your experience in the field. Whether you’re a freelancer, a solo business, or part of a company, make sure to include any relevant details that demonstrate your expertise and set you apart.
Step 4: Upload Your Portfolio
This section allows you to upload work samples, past projects, or media that showcase your skills. A strong portfolio can help clients understand your capabilities and the quality of work they can expect, giving them confidence in your abilities.
Step 5: Add Your Services
In the My Services section, select the categories and subcategories that best reflect your skills. These services will appear on your profile, making it easier for clients to see what you offer at a glance. You’ll also appear in relevant searches on the “Find a Specialist” page, helping the right clients discover you and reach out for jobs that align with your expertise.
