Posting a job on SkillScoop is quick and easy. Whether you’re looking for a one-off task or a long-term project, SkillScoop connects you with specialists who can help. Here’s how you can post your job and start getting quotes from skilled professionals in no time!
1. Click the “Create New Job” button
You’ll find a “Create New Job” button in the header. You can start creating a job whether you’re logged in or not. If you’re not signed in yet, you’ll be prompted to log in or sign up before the job is posted.
2. Add your job details
Give specialists a clear idea of what you need by filling in the key info:
Job title: Keep it short, clear, and descriptive.
Category / Subcategory: Choose the skill area that best matches your job.
Description: Let specialists know what the job involves. Be sure to include goals, specific requirements, or preferences to help them give accurate quotes.
Location: Select where the job needs to be done.
Timeline: Let specialists know your ideal timeframe for getting the job done.
Budget: Share a figure you have in mind, even if it’s just an estimate. This helps specialists tailor their quotes to your expectations.
3. Choose your payment option
Select your preferred payment method:
Direct Payment: You’ll arrange payment directly with the specialist through your preferred method (e.g., bank transfer, cash, third-party payment app).
Secure Payment (Hassle-Free): A secure payment option where you deposit funds upfront, and they are held in a secure account until the job is completed. This ensures both you and the specialist have peace of mind during the process.
4. Review and publish your job
Take a moment to double-check your details. When you’re ready, hit “Publish” to make your job live. Specialists will be able to view it and start sending quotes.
Optional: Boost your job
Want more visibility? You can choose to boost your job when publishing—or anytime later from your Job Dashboard. Boosted jobs are shown to more specialists, helping you get faster responses.
