How to use the Request a Quote feature

The Request a Quote feature lets you invite a specific specialist to send a quote for your project. Here’s how it works:

1. Post Your Job

Begin by creating a job post with all the essential details — the task you need done, your preferred timeline, and budget range.

Note: To use this feature, your job must match the specialist’s category. If the categories don’t align, you won’t be able to send a request.

2. Find Your Specialist

Head to the Find a Specialist page and browse for a specialist whose skills fit the job you’ve posted.

3. Send the Request

Once you’ve found the right specialist, click the Request a Quote button on their profile. You’ll be prompted to select the job you want them to quote for. This sends them a notification with a link to the job and invites them to submit a quote.

4. Wait for the Response

After receiving your request, the specialist will review your job details. If they’re interested and available, they’ll send you a quote.

Note: Keep in mind, if they don’t feel it’s the right fit, they may decide not to send a quote.
