When posting a job on SkillScoop, clients can choose between two payment options. Each method is designed to support different job types, levels of complexity, and working preferences. Here’s a quick overview of each method:

1. Direct Payment

With Direct Payment, the client and specialist agree to handle payment independently, outside of the SkillScoop platform. Once the work is completed to the client’s satisfaction, payment is made directly using a method of choice (e.g., bank transfer, cash, or a third-party payment app).

Ideal for:

✔️ Small, quick, or one-time jobs

✔️ Projects that don’t require milestones or detailed planning

Fees: No fees are charged by SkillScoop for Direct Payment.

2. Hassle-Free Payment

With Hassle-Free Payment, the client deposits funds upfront, which are securely held in a secure account. Once the work is delivered and approved, payment is released, ensuring a transparent and secure process. For a complete understanding of how it works, visit How Hassle-Free Works.

Best for:

✔️ Jobs that benefit from structure, clarity, and payment protection

Fees: A 6.9% fee is applied to the client’s total payment to support secure handling, platform support, and dispute protection.
No fees are charged to the specialist
