To access My Account, click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen.

This section is your personal control center on SkillScoop. Whether you’re here to post jobs, offer services, or do both, it’s where you manage your personal info, notification preferences, and services.

Here’s a guide to each section and what you can do:

Personal Information

Keep your core account details up to date.

You can:

  • ➖ Upload or update your profile photo
  • ➖ Edit your name, email address, and location
  • ➖ Add or change your phone number

About Me

Introduce yourself to the SkillScoop community. This section helps others understand who you are and what you’re here for.

If you’re a Client:

  • ➖ Write a short intro about yourself
  • ➖ Mention whether you’re posting jobs as an individual or business

If you’re a Specialist (or Both):

  • ➖ Highlight your skills, experience, and services
  • ➖ List relevant qualifications, degrees, certifications, and the number of years of experience in your field
  • ➖ Mention whether you’re operating solo or as part of a business

Portfolio (For Specialists)

This section is your space to showcase what you do best. Upload samples of your work, highlight past projects, and share success stories that reflect your skills and experience. A strong portfolio builds trust with potential clients and gives them a clear picture of the quality they can expect when working with you.

My Services (For Specialists)

Let clients know exactly what you offer. In the My Services section, you can select the categories and subcategories that best reflect your skills. These services will be displayed on your profile, making it easier for clients to see what you do at a glance. You’ll also appear in relevant searches on the “Find a Specialist” page — helping the right clients discover you and reach out for jobs that fit your expertise.

Reviews

Your feedback is all in one place. In the Reviews section, you can see all the reviews you’ve received, whether you’re working as a client, a specialist, or both. You can easily filter between the different types of reviews to get a clear view of your performance in each role.

Settings

In this section, you can adjust your email notification preferences and change your password. It’s the place to ensure your SkillScoop experience stays secure and aligns with your preferences.
